Mother, son killed in road accident near Bhaderwah | KNO

MLA Bhaderwah arranged chopper to airlift injured persons

BHADEWRAH,JUN 13 (KNO) ; Two persons were killed and seven others seriously injured after a Van bearing registration number JK06A 1698 they were traveling in plunged into a gorge near Khanitop area of Bhadarwah on Bhaderwah Chamba road here today .

The Maruti Van, which was on its way from Bhaderwah town to tourist destination Padri , met with an accident near Khanitop , 23 KM away from Bhaderwah in the afternoon as the vehicle skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge on a sharp curve. Local villagers and Jammu and Kashmir Police Jawans immediately shifted all the passengers to Sub-District Hospital Bhadarwah, where doctors declared two of them as brought dead and referred serious three patients to GMC Jammu for specialized treatment . The deceased have been identified asMukesh Kumar 26 S/O Narayan Singh and his mother Mana Devi residents of Chatra village of Bhaderwah .

The injured have been identified as Krish Raina 11 , Harish Raina all sons of Surinder Singh R/o Domail Udhampur , Manju Devi 35 w/o Surinder Singh R/o Udhampur , Ranjeet Kumar 26 s/o Bwani Das R/o Chatra , Satish Kumar 17 all sons of Bawani Das , Shiv Devi 55 w/o Bawani Das R/o Trangra Chatrra Bhaderwah.MLA Bhaderwah Daleep Singh Parihar while talking to media person expressed grief shock and concern over the tragic road accident in which mother and son duo died and several other injured and prayed for early recovery of injured persons .

MLA said soon after listening the news of accident he arranged air lift service for injured persons and also talked to Deputy Chief MInister Kavinder Gupta and other ministers for arranging chopper to airlift . MLA said suitable compensation will be provided to injured persons as he had directed for the same to administration . Minster of State Shakti Raj Parihar also expressed condolence with the victim families and assured all possible help from state government .
